Ariana Torchin

Ariana Torchin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities law and enforcement. Currently serving as Senior Counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel and the Asset Management Unit at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2016, Ariana has previously held an associate position in the Securities & Derivatives Enforcement and Regulatory group at Sidley Austin LLP from October 2013 to February 2016. Earlier in Ariana's career, significant roles included an associate position at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello PC and a law clerk position at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Ariana began professional legal experience as an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from August 2006 to August 2008. Academically, Ariana earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.
