Donna M. Chambers

Donna M. Chambers has extensive legal experience in the finance and securities sectors, having served in various senior roles at prominent organizations. Chambers was a Senior Vice President & Counsel at Citigroup from 2006 to 2007, followed by a significant tenure at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from 2011 to 2013, where positions included Senior Special Counsel and Counsel to the Director within the Division of Trading and Markets. After her time at Latham & Watkins as a Senior Associate from 2007 to 2009, Chambers returned to the SEC, serving as Senior Special Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel from 2014 until July 2025 and currently holds the position of Assistant General Counsel. Early in the career at Davis Polk & Wardwell as an Associate from 1997 to 2006 and at Deloitte & Touche as an Auditor from 1992 to 1994, Chambers built a solid foundation in legal and financial expertise. Academic credentials include a JD from Harvard Law School and a BBA from Baruch College.
