Jason Tant is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Cybersecurity Operations and Acting Chief Information Security Officer at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since May 2021, Jason also holds the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Steljas, LLC since June 2022. Prior experience includes significant roles at Sony from November 2012 to May 2021, where Jason was the Director of Continuous Operations, Development, & Engineering, as well as Director of Security Development. Earlier positions include Computer Scientist at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and various roles at the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command. Jason's foundational expertise in network security began as a Network Intrusion Analyst at Andrulis Corporation after earning a Master’s Degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University.
