Katharine Garrett

Katharine Garrett is an experienced accountant currently serving in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since February 2023. Prior to this role, Katharine worked at KPMG US from January 2020 to February 2023, progressing from Senior Associate to Manager within the Accounting Advisory Services. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Postgraduate Technical Assistant at the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) in 2019, as well as internships in SEC reporting at Cardinal Health and revenue accounting at Union Pacific Railroad. Katharine holds a Master of Accounting (Combined BSBA/MAcc) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting, both from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
