Mikhail Pevzner

Mikhail Pevzner is an accomplished academic and financial economist with extensive experience in teaching and research. Currently, Mikhail serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, teaching financial regulation, and as an Expert-Financial Economist at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, providing economic analysis on SEC rulemakings. Mikhail also oversees graduate programs as the Graduate Program Director at the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, where responsibilities include curriculum innovation for MBA and finance programs. Additionally, Mikhail holds a tenured position as a Professor at the University of Baltimore, focuses on various accounting courses, and has held several roles in academia and government, including visiting scholar at FINRA and visiting economist at the SEC. Mikhail earned a PhD in Business Administration-Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and a BSB in Accounting from UMN Carlson School of Management.
