Taylor Evenson

Taylor Evenson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in securities and investment management law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel in the Chief Counsel's Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission since January 2022, Taylor previously worked within the Office of the Chief Counsel in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis from June 2020 to December 2021. Prior experience includes an associate role at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and multiple positions at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where Taylor progressed from Summer Associate to Associate. Taylor's foundational legal experience includes internships and assistant roles at various organizations, including the Habeas Corpus Resource Center and Kirkland & Ellis. Academically, Taylor graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, holds a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College.
