Jihang Li

Jihang Li's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Software Engineer at Coderrect Inc., starting in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a UX Engineer at Google via Signature Consultants from August 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Google, Jihang held various roles at Software Engineering Applications in 2021. These roles include Stoco from March 2021 to August 2021, and involvement in the development of the TownSquare project, where they developed an authentication and authorization module, and incorporated Google Map and Google Calendar functionalities in the events management module.

Before their positions at Software Engineering Applications, Jihang worked at Penn State University where they held the role of Graduate Research Assistant from May 2015 to August 2019. In this role, they conducted research on controlling combustion instability in a LPM gas turbine using secondary injection. They established acoustic measurement systems, conducted simulations, implemented a novel secondary flame system, and coordinated with the industrial sponsor of the project. Additionally, Jihang served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2013 to May 2015 during their time at Penn State University.

Jihang Li's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University from 2013 to 2019. In 2020, Jihang Li also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera. More recently, in 2021, Jihang Li attended Hack Reactor for a Software Engineering Immersive program.
