Artūras Šliažas

Art Gillespie is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Odyssey since November 2023. Previously, Art held senior engineering management roles at Cruise, where responsibilities included managing the Autonomous Vehicle Remote Platform and overseeing Remote Assistance and Route Planning projects. At Voyage, Art led the development of the teleoperations solution "Telessist," which facilitates remote operation of autonomous vehicles. Art has also served as CEO of trainify.io and Director of Engineering at Udacity, guiding the engineering team through significant growth. In earlier roles, Art contributed to notable technology companies such as Google and Nest Labs, managing teams and developing consumer applications. Education includes studies at Belmont University and Murray State University.
