Jose Benitez

Jose Benitez is a Co-Founder and CEO of Secmotic Innovation since August 2014, actively contributing to the company's growth and vision in the ICT sector. As a member of the Board of Directors at FIWARE since March 2018, Jose plays a crucial role in strategic decision-making. In July 2022, Jose co-founded FIWOO Smart Solutions and is expected to transition out by September 2024 following its acquisition. Jose has also served as a Business Mentor at FundingBox and was a Co-Founder at Fheel Advertising, SL. Earlier in the career, Jose worked as a telecommunications engineer at Inabensa and engaged in various roles including ICT project execution and tutoring in mathematics and electronics. Jose holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla and has studied at Ruhr University Bochum and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
