Mohan Baskar is an experienced geologist with a specialized focus in field engineering and geotechnical investigations. Currently serving as a Field Engineering Geologist for SECON Private Limited on the Chennai Metro Rail Phase 2 project since May 2018, Mohan has a rich background in geotechnical operations from previous roles, including Executive Geologist for Gammon India Ltd during the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 1, where tasks involved diaphragm wall strata checking, rock grading, and instrumentation monitoring. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Geologist at Geo Marine Consultants and Technocrats, where laboratory and field testing proficiency was developed, and as a Hydro Geologist with Hydro Soil Engineers, overseeing drilling operations and analyzing geological formations. Mohan holds an MPhil in Geology, completed in 2011.
