Stephen McCarthy is an experienced paramedic and critical care paramedic, currently serving with the Second Alarmers Rescue Squad since 2012 and the Temple University Hospital Transport Team since January 2008. Previously, Stephen worked with the Philadelphia Fire Department from November 1997 to May 2006 and served as an Aerospace Medical Specialist in the United States Air Force from September 1983 to September 1989. Education includes ongoing studies in EMS management/education at Camden County College, a certification in Fire Science from Bucks County Community College, a certification in Paramedicine from Albert Einstein School of EMS, and an Associate's degree in Advertising Art from Philadelphia School of Advertising Art. Stephen also holds a diploma in Aeromedical Specialist from the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine and a high school diploma from Cardinal Dougherty High School.
