Dan Herman

Dan Herman has a diverse work experience in the real estate and communications industry. Dan is currently working as the Vice President - Market Acquisitions at Second Avenue since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Acquisitions at Sylvan Road Capital LLC from March 2021 to August 2022. Dan also worked as a Regional Acquisitions Manager at Growth by NCRC from June 2019 to December 2019. Before that, they owned and served as the President of Flatiron Properties LLC from February 2017 to June 2019. Dan has also worked as the Director of Acquisitions at National Home Rentals from June 2014 to February 2017 and as the Assistant Vice President of Acquisitions at American Homes 4 Rent from September 2012 to November 2013. Prior to their real estate career, they worked as a Real Estate Broker, REO Analyst, Transaction Manager, and Bookkeeper at Re/Max Professionals Select from August 2009 to September 2012. Dan started their professional career as a Network Development Analyst at Level 3 Communications from October 2008 to July 2009.

Dan Herman attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Real Estate. In 2010, they obtained their Illinois Real Estate Broker certification from IDFPR, and in 2015, they obtained their Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker certification, also from IDFPR.
