Christine Wightman (Chris)

Christine (Chris) Wightman has extensive experience in caregiving and volunteer work, currently serving as a Home Care Provider for IHSS since December 2021. With a commitment to community service, Chris has volunteered with Second Chance since July 2014 and with Mendocino Abalone Watch from April 2014 to December 2021, focusing on conservation efforts along the Mendocino Coast. Additional volunteer roles include assisting seniors through the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center and participating in various activities with Habitat for Humanity. Prior to these roles, Chris held the position of International Director of Merchandising at Toys"R"Us from 1981 to 2004, leading the international division’s operations in 28 countries. Chris's educational background includes studies at Ohio State University and the University of Michigan, with a focus on nursing.
