Sara K. has a diverse background in food assistance and community relations, currently serving as the Agency Relations Administrative Assistant at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sara K. held various positions at The Idaho Foodbank, including Community Partner Specialist from March 2020 to August 2023, and served in multiple capacities at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida from January 2018 to March 2020, specifically as Agency Relations Coordinator and Agency Capacity Coordinator. Additionally, Sara K. participated in AmeriCorps as a Public Ally from February 2018 to March 2020. Earlier experiences include working as a consultant for Kelly Services and a personal assistant for Florida Financial Group, along with a five-year tenure as a server at The Cheesecake Factory. Sara K. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida, earned between 2015 and December 2017.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida (SHFBCF) is a member of Feeding America – the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. SHFBCF secures and distributes food and grocery products to more than 625 local nonprofit feeding partners throughout Central Florida. Through the help of food and financial donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributes 300,000 meals every day to a seven-county service area.
