Allison (Allie) Rutland currently serves as a Grant Writer at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, a position held since December 2022. Previously, Allison held roles as Development Coordinator and Public Policy Intern at The Village at Glencliff, where significant achievements included publishing public policy research on Medicaid's impact on homelessness and orchestrating a grand opening event for a pioneering medical respite and transitional housing community. Additional experience includes engagement in grassroots activism with For The Many and leading emergency relief efforts for tornado victims in Tennessee with Open Table Nashville, where fundraising and marketing strategies successfully raised $250,000. Allison completed a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs, Poverty Studies & Latin American Studies at Furman University and participated in an IES Abroad program in Madrid focusing on Spanish and Politics.
