Karyn Thompson

Karyn Thompson has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Karyn served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee since 2011. Previously, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. for over a decade, where they provided a range of HR services to various clients in Middle Tennessee. Additionally, Karyn was the Director of Human Resources and Administration at Hermitage Hall - Residential Treatment Facility for six years, where they were involved in establishing the HR department and overseeing recruitment, policies, benefits, and employee relations.

Karyn Thompson completed their secondary education at Charlottesville High School from 1984 to 1988. Afterward, they pursued higher education at Lipscomb University from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Karyn's field of study during their time at Lipscomb University was Management. In 1998, they obtained a certification in Professional Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI.
