Desmond Henaghen

Desmond Henaghen has a diverse work experience. Desmond began their career as a Student Activities Intern at the University of Strathclyde Students' Association in 2014, followed by a Sales Advisor role at Maplin Electronics. In 2015, they volunteered at Halder Riding School. In 2016, they worked part-time as a Software Developer for GeoSport while studying Computer Science at the University of Strathclyde. Desmond also worked as a Market Analyst and Database Developer at Caterva GmbH. From 2018 to 2022, Desmond worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co., first as an Associate Software Engineer, then as a Software Engineer, and finally as a Senior Software Engineer. Desmond is currently employed at Second Nature as a Senior Software Engineer.

Desmond Henaghen completed their Higher & Advanced Higher qualifications at Holy Cross High School between 2007 and 2013. Desmond then went on to study Computer Science at the University of Strathclyde, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2018. During their time at the University of Strathclyde, they also completed an ERASMUS Exchange at the Technical University of Munich in Computer Science from 2015 to 2016.
