Ilona Virkkunen

Ilona Virkkunen has a diverse work experience in marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship. Ilona worked as a Marketing Manager at 2NS - Second Nature Security Oy from October 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Country Manager - Finland at Saleduck - Deal Community from December 2017 to August 2018, and as an Online Marketer from May 2017 to November 2017. Ilona also worked as a Community Operations Associate at Wolt from January 2017 to May 2017.

Before entering the marketing field, Ilona was an entrepreneur at Marketing Agency LilyWhite, specializing in scent marketing solutions in B2C-markets. Ilona worked in this role from July 2015 to June 2016 and was responsible for customer acquisition, developing and implementing scent marketing strategies, direct communication and negotiation with foreign suppliers and Finnish clients, B2B-sales, marketing, content creation, research, and reporting.

Additionally, Ilona has gained experience as a VAT-assistant and Sales Assistant at Intrum Justitia Oy from September 2012 to October 2012, and from March 2012 to August 2012, respectively. Ilona also worked as a Marketing Intern at nal von minden GmbH from July 2011 to October 2011, and as a Sales Assistant at Alexandria Pankkiiriliike from April 2011 to June 2011.

Ilona Virkkunen completed their education in a chronological order as follows. In 2008, they enrolled at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business. Ilona completed this program in 2010. In the same year, they also started their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business at Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, which they completed in 2012. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, Ilona pursued a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in International Marketing Management, at LUT University.
