Johannes Maerz

Johannes Maerz is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and project management within the automotive and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Special Projects at Secop since May 2021, Johannes focuses on strategic initiatives and leadership in operations. Prior to this role, Johannes was the Head of Production Planning at MAN Truck & Bus SE from October 2014 to April 2021, where responsibilities included the development of new production concepts and budget management for major projects. Johannes has a background in consulting from McKinsey & Company, where project leadership spanned multiple industries and continents, and held a leadership position at Airbus focusing on technical change management. Johannes earned a Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
