Jeffrey Opgrand

Jeffrey Opgrand is a Director with Secretariat Economists. Dr. Opgrand specializes in issues pertaining to the energy industry. Dr. Opgrand was formerly an economist in the Office of Energy Policy and Innovation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) where he worked on issues affecting wholesale electric markets, including financial transmission rights and capacity markets. He previously worked at Monitoring Analytics, the independent market monitor for the PJM Interconnection. Dr. Opgrand publishes articles on energy matters in journals such as Energy and The Energy Journal.
