Zachary Stern

Zachary Stern is an Associate Director with Secretariat, specializing in consulting clients on construction projects in the areas of claim pricing and evaluation, cost audits, change order entitlement and valuation, delay and disruption impacts, as well as project controls, project management and other matters of dispute resolution.

Mr. Stern has over 13 years of experience in the construction industry providing a variety of advisory services on construction projects of differing size and complexity both domestic and international. He has experience across a range of projects including airport, civil, transportation, rail, manufacturing, oil and gas, information technology, marine salvage, commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects. Mr. Stern’s experience includes preparation and defense of claims, change order evaluations and negotiations, as well as delay and schedule analyses. In addition, he has supported experts in providing evidence to adjudicators on multiple occasions.

Prior to joining Secretariat, Mr. Stern worked in Project Controls for a large multi-disciplinary engineering and construction management firm providing change order and project management services to clients on large-scale infrastructure projects in New York City and the surrounding areas.
