Betsy Van Schyndel has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Betsy started their career at US Equities Realty as a Conference Intern, where they gained experience in guest services and conference operations. Betsy then moved on to Federated Insurance as a Business Account Underwriter for two years before joining SECURA Insurance in 2012. At SECURA Insurance, Betsy held various roles including Commercial Lines Underwriter, Senior Commercial Lines Underwriter, Underwriting Supervisor, Commercial Lines Underwriting Director, and currently, they serve as a Senior Commercial Line Underwriter. Betsy has extensive knowledge and expertise in underwriting and has obtained several industry certifications such as CPCU, ARe, and ARM.
