Donna Gavin

Donna Gavin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Donna currently works as an Information Technology Trainer at SECURA Insurance, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, Donna held multiple roles at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, including Professor emerita, Computer Science and Software Engineering, and Senior Lecturer, Computer Science and Software Engineering, from 1997 to 2023. In 2018, they were a Grace Hopper Celebration Faculty Scholar at AnitaB.org. Donna also has experience working at John Deere as a Consultant/Programmer from 2008 to 2010.

Donna Gavin received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Saint Xavier University between the years 1988 and 1991. Prior to that, they attended Illinois Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1988, where they studied Physics. Donna completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University from 2001 to 2004.
