Doug Brett

Doug Brett has a strong background in pipeline and pressure equipment integrity programs. Doug has worked as an Operations Integrity Lead at Secure Energy Services Inc. since 2017, managing these programs and conducting assessments. Prior to that, they were a Chief Inspector and Asset Integrity Coordinator at Pengrowth Energy Corporation, where they also conducted assessments and managed integrity programs. Doug has experience in evaluating pipeline cut out samples and conducting pipeline failure analysis. Before their time at Pengrowth Energy Corporation, they worked at Skystone International Ltd. as a Chief Inspector and Integrity Technologist, again conducting assessments and managing integrity programs. Doug's earlier career includes working as a Research Technologist at Nova Chemicals Ltd., where they provided technical support and recommendations for the implementation of new technologies and equipment. Doug also worked on various projects related to flow measurement, emissions monitoring, and environmental projects.

Doug Brett attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1994 to 1996, where they pursued a Chemical Engineering Diploma. Doug then continued their education at SAIT from 1996 to 1997, specializing in Power Engineering Technology to obtain a Diploma in the field.
