Michael Myhra

Michael Myhra has extensive experience in the energy trading industry. Michael most recently served as the Vice President of Trading at Secure Energy since May 2023. Prior to that, Michael held a leadership position at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. as the Head of Canadian Crude Trading from October 2014 to May 2023. Michael also worked at JPMorgan Commodities Canada as an Executive Director from April 2010 to October 2014. Earlier in their career, Michael held a director position at Plains Midstream Canada, where they worked in crude oil trading from 2004 to 2010.

From 1997 to 2001, Michael Myhra attended the University of Lethbridge, where they earned a Bachelor of Management degree. Their field of study during this time was finance, specifically focusing on general finance.
