Matthew Hatton

Matthew Hatton is an experienced IT leader currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Secure Trust Bank since October 2024, overseeing all aspects of IT across the group. Prior to this role, Matthew was the IT Director at V12 Retail Finance Limited from December 2006 to October 2024, where responsibilities included managing a specialist provider of Retail Point of Sale Credit with an innovative online paperless processing system. Earlier roles include IT Director and IT Manager at V-12 Finance Limited from February 2003 to November 2006, where Matthew managed IT systems and a development team, and Owner of Blackwire Technologies from February 2000 to February 2003, providing web development and network support services. Matthew began the career as a Technician at Scan Computers International Ltd from April 1996 to February 2000 during university studies. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Information Technology and a BTEC HND in Software Development from The University of Salford, alongside a BTEC OND in Computer Science and a City & Guilds qualification in Programming in C++ from Bolton College.
