Phil Deakin

Phil Deakin is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as Finance Director for Group and Corporate Development at Secure Trust Bank since January 2022, Phil previously held the position of Group Director of Specialist and Commercial Finance at OneSavings Bank plc from May 2020 to January 2022, where responsibilities included technical accounting, product pricing, and performance analytics following a merger. Prior to that role, Phil was the Director of Specialist Finance at Charter Court Financial Services Limited for over a decade, overseeing product pricing, regulatory reporting, and serving as a key member of several executive committees. Phil began their career at Grant Thornton UK LLP as an Associate Director in Transaction Advisory Services. Phil holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with ICAEW.
