Drew Slininger

Drew Slininger has a diverse work experience in various engineering and leadership roles. Drew is currently the Director of Engineering at SecureAuth Corporation. Prior to that, they worked at Vectra AI, where they held the positions of Senior Director of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Engineering Manager. At Vectra AI, they were responsible for the transformation of the company's security platform from a hardware appliance/on-premise solution to a multi-tenant cloud SaaS platform.

Before joining Vectra AI, Drew was the Director of Software Engineering at Digital Pharmacist Inc. (formerly RxWiki), where they led the development of APIs, websites, and mobile apps for independent pharmacists. Drew successfully overhauled the existing Drupal API solution and implemented a series of HIPAA compliant RESTful microservices. Drew also played a key role in setting code quality and security standards, as well as building an engineering culture at the company.

Drew's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Self Lender, where they were responsible for building a banking core that processed millions of dollars in customer payments and handled secure financial data. Drew also worked as a Software Engineer at RetailMeNot, Inc., where they built and deployed features for the company's flagship website and led the email platform team.

Drew started their career as a Software Developer at Samsung SDS, where they maintained and improved purchasing software for a semiconductor plant. Drew also contributed to the creation of a financial reporting system for engineering groups. Prior to that, they interned as a Manufacturability System Analyst at SEMATECH. Overall, Drew has a strong background in engineering, leadership, and software development across various industries.

Drew Slininger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering, specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from the same university, starting in 2009 and completing it in 2011.
