Oana-Alexandra Coica

Oana-Alexandra Coica is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Incident Response Advisor and Senior Incident Response Analyst at Secureworks since June 2022. In this role, Oana-Alexandra triages security-related Taegis™ XDR alerts, assesses their risk and validity, and has consistently performed at 180% of team benchmarks. Prior to Secureworks, Oana-Alexandra worked as a Security Consultant at Data Core Systems, where contributions included the installation and configuration of security solutions and the development of security policies. Earlier experience as a Junior Security Engineer and Consultant at Asseco South Eastern Europe involved managing various security technologies across multiple projects. Oana-Alexandra holds a Master's degree in Security and Applied Logic from the University of Bucharest, a Master's degree in Information Technology Security from the Military Technical Academy "Ferdinand I," and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the University of Bucharest.
