Kevin Murphy

Kevin Murphy currently serves as Vice President of the local ISACA Chapter, focusing on providing educational opportunities for members in GRC. In addition to this role, Kevin is an Advisory Council Member at SecureWorld, where recommendations guide regional and webinar content to ensure relevance and value. Formerly a Business Information Security Officer at T-Mobile, Kevin has extensive experience in cybersecurity, holding leadership roles including Vice President of Cyber Governance at IOActive and a retired Lt Colonel at the National Security Agency. Kevin's tenure at Microsoft involved significant contributions as Director of Windows Security Architecture and Principal Security Strategist, where key security programs were established. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Logistics from Air War College and a Bachelor’s from Seattle University, with an MBA nearly completed.
