Chantal Janssens

Chantal Janssens has extensive experience in occupational safety and risk management, currently serving as the Regional Director for East and West Flanders at Securex since 2001. In this role, Chantal oversees project management related to workplace safety, including risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency response planning. As a partner at De Kegel Johan BVBA and a guest lecturer at KAHO Sint-Lieven, Chantal contributes to the education of future safety advisors and coordinators. Previous positions include Project Engineer and Internal Safety Advisor at Aquafin, and Deputy Safety Officer at the Flemish Environmental Agency. Chantal holds several degrees in engineering and safety advising, reinforcing a strong academic foundation in the field.
