Ivo Verstraelen began their work experience in 1995 at Belgacom as a Planning Manager. Ivo then transitioned to an Account Telecom Consultant before eventually joining Securex in 2002 as a Network Engineer. Over the years, Ivo progressively advanced through roles such as Security Advisor & Network Architect and Information Security Officer. Currently, Ivo holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at Securex.
Ivo Verstraelen obtained their Master of Science in Industrial Sciences with a specialization in Electronics - micro-electronics from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool. Ivo attended this institution from 1986 to 1990. In addition to their degree, Ivo Verstraelen obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in November 2014.
