Semih KARATAŞ

Semih KARATAŞ began their career in 2015 as an Intern for Bechtel-Enka General Partners Kosovo Motorway Project. In 2016, they worked as an Intern for Tepe İnşaat Sanayi A.Ş. From 2017 to 2020, they held various roles at Kalyon Construction Group, including Saha/İnşaat Mühendisi, Proje Sorumlusu, İnce İşler Saha Mühendisi, and Saha/İnşaat Mühendisi. In 2020, they worked as an İnşaat Mühendisi for Beşer Mühendislik/Müşavirlik, where they were responsible for controlling and inspecting construction projects for the İç İşleri Bakanlığı Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetimi Başkanlığı. Since 2022, Semih KARATAŞ has been working as the HR and Finance Team Lead and HR and Finance Specialist for Securify, where their responsibilities include budget planning, cash flow control, pre-accounting tracking, invoice processing, planning and tracking of company investment funds, communication and coordination with banks, planning of company purchasing processes, and implementation and control of HR processes.

Semih KARATAŞ obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (100% English) from Çankaya University between 2012 and 2017. Semih then obtained two additional certifications in 2022 and 2020 from Istanbul University and Boğaziçi University, respectively. Semih is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Management at Middle East Technical University, which they began in 2021.
