Jorge Couto

Jorge Couto is the Divisional President, Security Services Ibero-America at Securitas. Jorge has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, and project engineering.

Couto started their career as a Project Engineer at Grundig Elektronik A.S. in 1988. Jorge then moved to Efacec in 1989 and became the Marketing and Sales Director. In 2015, they left Efacec to join Consoveyo, S.A. as the Chief Sales Officer. In 2020, they joined Körber Supply Chain as the Vice President Of Business Development.

At Securitas, Couto is responsible for leading the company’s security services division in Ibero-America. Jorge has extensive experience in developing and executing business strategies, as well as managing sales and marketing teams.

Jorge Couto has a Licentiate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, a Post-graduation in Information and Technologies from Universidade Portucalense (UPT), and a Post Graduation in Management with a concentration in Business Administration and Management, General from IESE Business School.

Jorge Couto reports to Magnus Ahlqvist, President & CEO. They work with José Castejon - COO North American Guarding, Security Services North America, Peter Karlströmer - Divisional President Security Services Europe, and Andreas Lindback - Chief Financial Officer.
