Elizabeth Cvelbar, ASA, is an accomplished actuarial professional with a robust background in both practical and academic settings. Currently serving as an Assistant Actuary at Security Benefit since May 2020, Elizabeth has progressed through various actuarial roles within the company. Prior experience includes an actuarial internship at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company, where notable achievements include automation of model documentation and optimization of calculation processes. Elizabeth has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant in the Purdue University Department of Statistics, assisting students in data analysis techniques, and conducted undergraduate research under the National Science Foundation, focusing on predictive modeling and data visualization. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Applied Statistics from Purdue University.
