Sharat Akula

Sharat Akula has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Sharat started their career at WordTech Inc in 2006, where they worked as a Programmer/Analyst for over a year. In 2007, they joined Payless ShoeSource and held various roles including Programmer Analyst B, Programmer Analyst A, Software Engineer II, Software Engineer III, and Senior Software Engineer. Sharat worked at Payless ShoeSource for a total of 10 years, from 2007 to 2017. In 2017, Sharat Akula joined Security Benefit as an Enterprise Solution Architect, their current position.

From 2004 to 2006, Sharat Akula pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
