Kevin Gojmerac

Kevin Gojmerac started their work experience in 2008 as a Metcalf Foundation Intern at Volcano Theatre / Peggy Baker Dance Projects. Kevin then worked as a Membership Manager at Playwrights Guild of Canada from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, they became a Freelance Web Developer and continued in that role until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, Kevin worked at INVIVO Communications Inc., starting as an Interactive Media Developer and progressing to the role of Technical Director, Web. In 2021, they worked as a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer until 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Security Compass since August 2022.

Kevin Gojmerac has a diverse educational background in computer science and arts administration. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Alberta. From 2006 to 2007, they attended Humber College, where they studied Arts Administration - Cultural Management. In 2010, they enrolled at Ryerson University and earned a Certificate in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed in 2012.

In recent years, Kevin has further enhanced their computer science skills through online certifications. In 2019, they obtained a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity, followed by a Nanodegree in Natural Language Processing in 2021. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2020, they completed certifications in Conflict Resolution Foundations, Effective Listening, Giving and Receiving Feedback, and Vue.js: Full-Stack Applications with Firebase, all from LinkedIn. In 2022, they obtained a certification in Foundations of Humane Technology from the Center for Humane Technology.
