Emily Overlander has a diverse range of work experiences. Emily started their career as a Salesperson at Bob Evans Farms, Inc. in 2005, where they developed strong customer service skills. In 2010, they worked as a Salesperson at Market Street Grill while completing an internship and college courses. Emily then joined Family Optometry in 2011 as an Optical Assistant, eventually transitioning to working with insurance and collections.

In 2012, Emily moved to Security Federal Savings Bank as a Senior Accountant, later becoming the Accounting Manager and eventually the AVP, CBVM/Accounting & Audit Risk Manager. In this role, they managed the accounting department, prepared reports, and oversaw the bank's audit risk and vendor management program.

From 2018 to 2020, Emily worked as a Controller at Crossroads Bank before returning to Security Federal Savings Bank as the Controller and Audit Risk Manager. In 2021, they were promoted to Vice President in the same role.

In 2016, Emily pursued their entrepreneurial dream and became the Business Owner of Ground Up Diesel Repair, LLC. Emily built the business from scratch and managed all aspects of the diesel repair shop.

Throughout their career, Emily has gained over 7 years of customer service experience, with a focus on building relationships and providing excellent service.

Emily Overlander completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Manchester University from 2007 to 2011. In addition, they obtained the Certified Banking Vendor Manager certification from Secure Banking Solutions, LLC in March 2016.
