Scott Westphal

Scott Westphal is an experienced actuarial leader with a diverse background in pricing and risk adjustment across various health insurance products. Currently serving as the Director of Actuarial and Risk Adjustment at Security Health Plan since May 2020, Scott oversees all actuarial and underwriting teams. Prior to this role, Scott held multiple director positions at UnitedHealth Group from January 2005 to May 2020, where responsibilities included pricing health insurance products and leading actuarial teams focused on risk adjustment analysis. Scott's career began at Employers Health Insurance as an R&D Analyst and progressed at American Medical Security, where as Actuarial Manager and Vice President, Scott established a significant actuarial department. Scott holds a BA in Math and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
