Geoffrey Vaughan

Geoffrey Vaughan is an accomplished professional in the field of application security, currently serving as Director of Security Engineering at Security Innovation since August 2015, where management of a team of Security Engineers and oversight of application security assessments and penetration testing occur. Previous roles at Security Innovation include Principal Security Engineer, leading major security assessment projects across multiple industries, and Senior Security Engineer, known for expertise in identifying vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications. Prior to this, experiences include serving as a Security Consultant at Security Compass Inc., University Instructor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, and Technology Teacher at Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Geoffrey Vaughan holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Security from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, a B.Ed from Trent University, and a BSc in Computing and Computer Electronics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
