Brian Freedman

Brian Freedman is the Chief Technical Officer at Security Risk Solutions, Inc. since January 2020, leading technology planning, development, and oversight for the company and its clients. Additionally, Brian serves as a Senior Consultant and Adjunct Professor at ECPI University, teaching Linux Administration courses and recognized as ECPI Online Faculty of the Year in 2021. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Cybersecurity at NorthShore University HealthSystem, where Brian implemented and managed the cybersecurity program, and Senior Security Administrator at South Carolina Federal Credit Union, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Brian's extensive experience includes roles focused on cybersecurity and information technology in various organizations, alongside contributions as an author in the field. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications and History from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems from Strayer University.
