Gustavo Garcia

Gustavo Garcia has over 8 years of work experience in the engineering and construction industry. In 2012, they began their career as an intern at AG3 Group, LLC. Gustavo then interned at Gessner Engineering in 2013, followed by an internship at Skanska USA Building Inc. in 2014. In 2015, they interned at Ferrovial, where they had the opportunity to join the Galapagar-Torrelodones Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion project team. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Jacobs as a Field Engineer and Design Engineer. In 2019, they joined KPMG US as a Senior Associate, Deal Advisory & Strategy and Associate, Risk Advisory Solutions. In 2021, they became the Principal at GUSAGA. Most recently, they were appointed as the Chief of Staff at SecurityGate.io in 2022.

Gustavo Garcia has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA from ThePower Business School, a Construction Finance Management from Columbia Engineering, and an Aspiring Founder Certificate from Y Combinator. Gustavo also holds a Google Project Management certification from Coursera obtained in July 2022, a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers obtained in December 2021, and an Envision Sustainability Professional certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure obtained in January 2019.
