Mark Weatherford

Mark Weatherford serves as the Chief Cybersecurity Strategist at Coalfire since February 2024 and is the CEO and Founding Partner of Aspen Chartered since June 2020. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Weatherford has held key roles including Chief Strategy Officer at the National Cybersecurity Center and Deputy Under Secretary for Cybersecurity at the US Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, Weatherford has been involved on various advisory boards and as a board director for multiple organizations, contributing to initiatives in cybersecurity and technology investments. Weatherford holds a Master's degree in Technology and Information Security from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Arizona.
