Mikel Braojos

Mikel Braojos has a comprehensive work experience spanning several industries and positions. Mikel currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales, Americas at Securosys since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Advisor at BC Vault starting in July 2021. From July 2020 to January 2022, Mikel was the Senior Vice President of Sales at AlertEnterprise.

Before joining AlertEnterprise, Mikel held various leadership roles at HID Global from 2015 to 2020. Mikel served as the VP Global Sales, IAM Division from September 2015 to July 2020, and also as the VP Sales EMEA, IAM Division from October 2015 to January 2016.

From 2012 to 2015, Mikel worked as the Vice President of Sales, South & Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa at SafeNet. Prior to that, they served as the VP Sales, (South, MEA&South Asia) EMEA-I at Thales e-Security from April 2008 to March 2012.

Mikel's work experience also includes the role of Managing Director Spain and Portugal at The MathWorks from June 2003 to May 2008. Mikel served as the Country Manager Spain at Entrust from January 2000 to May 2003, and as an Account Manager/Territory Manager Iberia & Switzerland at Interleaf from 2000 to 2005.

Furthermore, Mikel Braojos has contributed to the academic community as an Advisory Board Member at Rutgers Center for Innovation Education, San Francisco since October 2018. Mikel is an active member of the Rutgers Big Data San Francisco Advisory Board, utilizing their experience and knowledge to bridge the industry-academia gap and make a positive impact on the community.

Mikel Braojos completed their MsEE degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MsEE, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Later, in 2015, they pursued a degree in Certified Financial Planner as an EFA - European Financial Advisor from EFPA. Lastly, Mikel attended UEM to pursue an MBA degree, but the exact start and end years are not provided.
