Sebastian Welsh

Sebastian Welsh is a seasoned technology executive and engineer, serving as CTO and Co-founder at Sedaro since September 2016, where the focus is on delivering scalable mission simulation for Aerospace and Defense systems through advanced collaborative modeling and simulation techniques. Prior to Sedaro, Sebastian worked as Lead Engineer at Ibeos from June 2016 to August 2019, specializing in high-reliability electronics for space avionics and providing aerospace consulting services. As Team Lead for Virginia Tech RockSat-X from August 2014 to July 2016, Sebastian oversaw the development and integration of multiple rocket payloads designed for diverse experimental applications. Additionally, administrative and managerial competencies were demonstrated as Vice President of Virginia Tech's Human Powered Submarine Team. Early career experience includes software engineering internships at Lockheed Martin in 2014 and 2015. Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, earned in 2016.
