Anna Meyerhoff-Cole has extensive work experience in various roles. Anna started their career as a Program Intern at the Kansas Leadership Center in 2008. Anna then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Wichita State University, where they assisted in programs and projects related to environmental regulations and sustainability. Anna also helped in planning press events and preparing reports.
In 2011, Anna joined Sedgwick County Government as an ICMA Local Government Management Fellow. Anna provided support to project managers and consultants on shared service efforts between code enforcement departments. Anna also assisted in assessing infrastructure for a comprehensive asset plan. Anna later served as the Metropolitan Medical Response System Project Coordinator, where they managed budgets, contracts, and equipment acquisitions.
Anna then worked as an Interim Budget Analyst, responsible for administering operating and capital budgets and evaluating budget adjustments. Anna also served as a Forensic Administrator, supervising administrative staff and implementing a database for improved case management. Anna later became the Central Services Manager, overseeing call centers, print shops, mail rooms, and records management. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer, providing guidance to staff and County departments, and leading the strategic planning for the Division of Human Resources.
Anna Meyerhoff-Cole began their education by attending Emporia State University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Anna then went on to study at Wichita State University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Public Administration degree with a focus on City/County Management and Nonprofit Management.
