Greg Gann has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Greg began their career as a Radio Personality, Music Director, and Program Director at various radio stations. Gann then transitioned into the IT field, where they worked as a Senior Support Analyst at Sedgwick County DIO. In this role, they co-managed the Helpdesk environment, mentored support staff, and served as an IT consultant to County departments. Greg also held the position of Enterprise IT Project Manager and Senior IT Project Manager at Sedgwick County, where they managed a range of IT projects and served as a facilitator and consultant. Gann's most recent role is as the IT Business Solutions Director at Sedgwick County Government, where they direct the activities of various IT service groups and coordinates efforts to support the deployment and maintenance of technology-based business solutions.
Greg Gann completed their education at three different institutions. From 1973 to 1975, they attended Wichita High School West and earned a Diploma with a focus on General studies. Later, from 1996 to 1999, they studied at Friends University, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. Lastly, Greg pursued further education from 2004 to 2006 and earned a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, again at Friends University.
