Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson has a diverse work experience. Doug started their career as the Director of Business Development at Gemvision from May 2007 to February 2015. Doug was responsible for direct marketing and sales across 10 states in the southeast US, successfully selling software solutions to business owners and C-level clients.

After that, they owned and operated D20 Collective, an online retail storefront selling gaming merchandise and accessories, from February 2015 to November 2019. Doug established and optimized a large community of 600k targeted and engaged consumers through social media and leveraged email marketing to a list of 55k buyers. Doug also spearheaded international marketing efforts resulting in a consistent 15% increase in revenue year over year.

Currently, Doug is working at Sedona Technologies as the IT Marketing Director and Senior Account Executive since September 2019. Doug'sresponsibilities include advancing lead generation and selling SaaS security to C-level clients through strategic marketing programs. Doug is also involved in developing new presentations, consolidating security data, producing instructional videos, and supporting the launch of new platforms.

Doug Johnson obtained their high school diploma from Assumption Highschool in Davenport, IA in the year 2000. Prior to that, they attended Pequot Lakes Highschool in Pequot Lakes, MN from 1996 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Python certification from Sololearn in December 2022 and the Python 2 & 3 Programming Certification from Programming Hub in November 2022. Doug also acquired certifications in sales-related courses such as "Asking Great Sales Questions" and "Sales: Closing Strategies" from LinkedIn in March 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the "Continuum Command Specialist" certification from ConnectWise and the "Webroot Business Endpoint Protection Sales Certification" as well as the "Webroot DNS Protection Sales Certification" from Webroot, all in September 2020.
