Tyler Hamke has a long and varied work experience. Tyler began their career in 2011 as an Aquatics Operations Coordinator, Swim Instructor, and Head Lifeguard for the Klahanie HOA. In 2012, they became an Assistant Swim Coach for the Klahanie Swim Team. In 2013, they began working as a Senior Graphic Designer for Gonzaga University Student Publications. From 2014 to 2017, they held various roles for Gonzaga University, including GU RoboSub Club President, Project Lead for Project HAZE (High Altitude Zags Experiment), and Resident Assistant. In 2015, they interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at F5 Networks. In 2016, they interned as a Seat Integration Team Payloads Engineering Intern at Boeing. From 2017 to present, they have been a Mechanical Engineering Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer for Sedron Technologies.

Tyler Hamke attended Skyline High School from 2009 to 2013. Tyler then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Leadership Studies at Gonzaga University from 2013 to 2017. In December 2014, they obtained a Certified Solidworks Associate certification.
