Austin Hill

Austin Hill is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Seed Round Capital. Austin has over a decade of experience in the roofing industry, starting their career as a Sales Engineer for Carrier Corporation and Johnson Controls. In 2010, they founded ManSalt, a company that provides de-icing solutions for residential and commercial properties. Austin grew the company significantly, appearing on KPRC2's Houston Life to discuss the creation and history of ManSalt. In 2014, they co-founded Texas Roofing Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing materials. Austin served as President of Flat Roof Tech from 2016 to 2021 before joining Seed Round Capital.

Austin Hill has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Texas McCombs School of Business, a Master's Degree in National Security Policy Studies from American Military University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Austin also has a Bachelor of Engineering - BE from the United States Naval Academy. In addition, they have certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in Commercial Roofing Contractor, certification from the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) in Certified Roofing Contractor, and certification from NCEES in EIT.
